- Log into the Linux device

# add docker software repository
sudo add-apt-repository "deb [arch=arm64] https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu $(lsb_release -cs) stable" - Continue with the following commands:
# install docker
sudo apt update
sudo apt install docker-ce docker-ce-cli containerd.io
# start docker service
sudo systemctl start docker
# enable docker service on startup
sudo systemctl enable docker
# create a docker group
sudo groupadd docker
# add the current user to the docker group
sudo usermod -aG docker $USER - To run a basic Docker container, run the following command in a terminal:
sudo docker run hello-world - Docker will download the hello-world container and execute it, displaying following output:
Hello from Docker!
